Active Shooter Response Training
This course is to teach employees how to respond in the event of an active shooter incident. Please register for the "Violence Awareness and Active Shooter LMS module prior to registering for one of the sessions, using the course code UNCHHPAS. Sessions are available throughout the year in Chapel Hill, Hillsborough and Morrisville.

Concourse between Memorial Hospital and Children’s Hospital Lobbies Will Be Closed Starting Feb. 1
Starting Feb. 1, the concourse that runs between the Memorial Hospital lobby and the Children's Hospital lobby will be closed. During this time, Skanska will be connecting existing infrastructure to infrastructure that will service the UNC Surgical Tower when it is complete, and will be creating more seating for the Terrace Café. The closure is expected to last at least 8 months.

Preview New View for Epic@UNC Patient Header (Storyboard) in the Epic@UNC Playground
On Jan. 26, the patient header in Epic@UNC is moving to the left side of the screen as part of our next Quarterly Release. Confirmed benefits of the new Storyboard view include saving clicks, reducing scrolling, making better use of widescreen space, and presenting the patient's 'story' in a consistent way.
