Without a doubt, this year has been extremely challenging for all of us. We have had to rethink every aspect of our daily lives - how and where we work, care for our children, run our errands, connect with family – and the list goes on. Having to pivot daily in order to adjust to these challenges has an effect on our emotional and physical health and well-being.

From the UNC School of Medicine, graduate student Hernán Méndez and his advisor Kathleen Caron, PhD, and graduate student Sofia Neira and her advisor Thomas Kash, PhD, were named Gilliam Fellows.
