The Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development Office and UNC School of Medicine Coaching Academy are accepting applications for the Leader as Coach Training Program. This 14-hour virtual program is designed to teach coaching skills to faculty, staff and administrators and is open to members of all School of Medicine departments.
The Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development Office and UNC School of Medicine Coaching Academy are accepting applications for the Leader as Coach Training Program. This 14-hour virtual program is designed to teach coaching skills to faculty, staff and administrators and is open to members of all School of Medicine departments.
The program will focus on:
- Conversational coaching skills and a model for coaching anyone, anywhere, anytime within the context of a healthcare organization
- The four core coaching skill of establishing agreements, active listening, reflective inquiry and setting goals
- Fieldwork observation and practice coaching within the group of participants
Sessions will be held virtually from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. on the following dates: Jan. 11, 18 and 25; Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22.
