Since opening in April, the Discharge Hospitality Center has welcomed over 500 guests waiting for transportation home after discharge. Tyler Butler-Figueroa of Raleigh is an 11-year-old with a lot of talent and a ton of heart. Diagnosed with leukemia when he was just six, he was victim of bullying at his school because of his illness. Finally, he decided that instead of being known as the kid with leukemia, he'd be known as something else. If you haven't seen this "America's Got Talent" clip, do yourself a favor and watch now!

Do you want to lose some weight? Get in better shape? Be healthier? The Applied Physiology Lab at UNC is looking for men and women, ages 30-50, to participate in a research study looking at the effects of a time-efficient exercise program and dietary protein on health and fitness.

Chapel Hill Transit will not operate services on Thursday, July 4, 2019, due to the Independence Day holiday. Normal services will resume on Friday, July 5, 2019. The University will also be closed on Thursday, July 4. As a result, all Park & Ride permit holders and GoPass users will be allowed to park in the S11 parking lots during this time period. On-campus parking permit holders are encouraged to continue to park in their assigned zones. UNC Hospitals shuttles will operate on a normal schedule.
