The Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development would like to congratulate the 2019-2020 cohort of Academic Career Leadership Academy in Medicine (ACCLAIM) graduates. The leadership development program is for early- to mid-career faculty in the School of Medicine, with an emphasis on those underrepresented in medicine.

What is ACCLAIM?

ACCLAIM is a leadership development program for early- to mid-career faculty in the School of Medicine, with an emphasis on those underrepresented in medicine.

The ACCLAIM program includes:

  • Skills-based leadership development training
  • Mentoring toward promotion and tenure (if applicable)
  • Academic career counseling
  • The opportunity to network with colleagues from across the institution
  • An intensive three-day retreat focusing on personal leadership
  • A year-long mentored project

Faculty from each of the School of Medicine’s 29 departments have participated in the program since its inception 8 years ago.
