Subhashini Sellers, MD, MSc, and Sheryl Jordan, MD, RCC, have been named as the new course directors for the Science of Medicine course, a required course in the Individualization Phase at the UNC School of Medicine. Sellers and Jordan will teach students the science behind medical advances, exploring the steps of basic research, translational research, and clinical research. The course also reviews the ethics of science, funding, and publication.
