The Krispy Kreme Challenge, which has donated nearly $1 million to UNC Children’s over the history of the race, recently announced two new online initiatives aimed at raising more money to support patients and their families.

  • Sign up for Welzoo, and you'll raise money for the Krispy Kreme Challenge every time you open a browser. The idea is simple: sign up and make Welzoo.com your homepage, and Welzoo will donate 3 cents to the Krispy Kreme Challenge in support of UNC Children's each day you visit your homepage. Said one race director, "Essentially, if we get 10,000 people to sign up, the website will donate $300 a day, every day, for the organization." You can sign up for Welzoo on K2C's Welzoo registration page.

  • Amazon Smile is another easy way to support the Krispy Kreme Challenge. Simply by joining, 0.5% of any qualifying purchases you make on Amazon.com will be donated to the race for the benefit of UNC Children’s, without any additional fees to you. Sign up by visiting the K2C's Amazon Smile page

SAVE THE DATE! The 2016 race will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016. Registration opens October 1.
